One of Britain’s oldest cheeses, Appleby’s Cheshire, is made by the Appleby family using milk from their own herd of cows. As the farm is situated on the salt plains of the Cheshire marshes, the milk used boasts a unique saline flavour with a mineral quality.
The crumbly texture of Appleby’s Cheshire, along with its zesty, tangy flavour, is perfectly offset by the sweet-savoury and luscious flavour of our Caramelised Red Onion Relish (which also doesn’t go amiss on crusty white bread with topped pâte!).
