Cheese Toastie with Fresh Chilli Jam

Method:

Spread the Fresh Chilli Jam onto one of the slices of bread. Layer on the cheddar cheese. Top with the other slice of bread.

Heat a frying pan on a medium heat. Add the butter until melted but not smoking. Place the sandwich in the pan for 2-3 minutes until it is golden brown underneath. Carefully turn the sandwich over and cook again for 2-3 minutes, adding more butter if needed.

Makes 1 toastie

Ingredients:

2 Slices of bread, we recommend Fresh Sourdough

3 Slices of Cheddar

A Large knob of Butter

A healthy dollop of Fresh Chilli Jam
